This year marks the 150th year that the sport of East Asian origin, polo (also known as ‘the Game of Kings’) has been recognised as a modern game. With the business and social calendars now in full in swing and summer in its swansong, just one more moment to celebrate life al fresco over French bubbles is welcome respite from it all.
This year’s VC Masters Polo takes place at the exquisite Val de Vie Estate in Paarl this Saturday, it will yet again be MC’ed by the ever-brilliant actress Nomzamo Mbatha. She will be joined by American actor and E! News anchor Terrence J.
“It’s also about just the celebrating of the little moments - and that’s why it’s so consistently the best exclusive polo event in South Africa.”
– Nomzamo Mbatha
