After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they're expecting their first child, royal fans everywhere have wondered about titles, potential names, and of course, the gender of the upcoming royal baby.
The gender is still very much unknown and might be for some time, but that didn't stop well-wishers from telling Harry and Meghan their hopes during their day in Australia. As the Duke and Duchess walked past some supporters, a woman yelled to Harry, "I hope it's a girl!" Harry replies, "So do I!"
Regardless of the gender, Meghan and Harry are already making some big decision for their child. It was recently revealed that the couple will not seek a royal title for their baby, despite a range of options.
According to Express, if the couple welcomes a boy, he will receive the title of Earl of Dumbarton, a title given to Harry by Queen Elizabeth on his wedding day. If a girl, the title Lady Mountbatten-Windsor would be given, and any sons after would be named Lord Mounbatten-Windsor. But Harry and Meghan are likely to turn down any titles, for the sake of having their child lead a 'relatively normal life.'
