With fashion week's worldwide almost over, the one major beauty moment out of the bunch to really catch our eye had to be the ENTIRE beauty look seen at Dries Van Noten's Spring/Summer 2019 runway show in Paris.
Creative director of Dior beauty and makeup artist Peter Phillips, sent models down the runway rocking strikingly dark statement eyes, with swatches of graphic jet black makeup across their lids - paired with not much else.
Models oozed attitude's of the quintessential modern woman, confident in who she is and not phased by what others may think.
Phillips chose to keep skin beautifully demure with a dab of gloss onto models lips for a paired down look that contrast beautifully against the bright fashion pieces on show.
The jet-black eyes were not the only thing that made us take notice. Updated daring rebellious take's on the itsy bitsy micro-fringe with a nod to the punk era, created by hair genius Sam McKnight, were also a high focus of the entire look. Some models rocked beautifully crafted pixie cut like feather wigs in bright colours, and others were made to look like they had hacked their own tresses into choppy angled fringes to frame their faces. Either way, like it or not, this look makes a powerful statement no matter the occasion.
