A genre pinned as the fan favourite no matter where you are in the world is Comedy and much to our surprise, the infamous, can’t-help-but-binge-watch streaming service known as Netflix is set to air a series called “Comedians of the World”
The comedy series hosts a range of comedians from 13 regions (47 talents to be exact and can we talk about the diversity?) and focuses on the different ways in which humour is perceived around the world. From France to Canada, the show is set to feature a real edit of comedic brilliance and the best part of it all; four South African humourists namely: Loyiso Madinga, Loyiso Gola, Riaad Moosa and Tumi Morake are part of the show’s cast.

With the platform acting as a major step forward in their careers, Netflix is making the conscious effort in ensuring that the series reaches a wide audience with it being recorded in eight different languages. It will be released in January 2019, in box-set form which means more screen-time, less work-time and 47 times the laughter! Are you as excited as we are? We hope so.
