If anyone would be down to recreate Shawn Mendes' now-iconic Calvin Klein commercial, Miley Cyrus is one of the most out-of-field people we'd expect.
However, it's also worth noting that 2013 Cyrus was a lot different (and more risqué) than 2019 Cyrus—and on February 19, 2019, Cyrus dug back into her more controversial archives to give us a Calvin Klein moment that almost overshadowed Mendes' one.
Cyrus took to her Instagram story to share a side-by-side picture of herself and Mendes, and wrote over the top: "Don't leave your children with Miley." She also made sure her and Mendes' nipples were covered with pairs of appropriately-placed love hearts.
The post echos an incredibly iconic tweet that Cyrus shared in 2013, at the height of her controversial Bangerz era. Sharing a picture of her young, Disney Channel-primed self next to an eclectic-looking Lady Gaga, she wrote in all caps: "DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN WITH LADY GAGA."

Cyrus and Mendes have been friends, and fans were quick to wonder whether this means a new collaboration is in the works—and at the 2019 Grammy Awards, he hinted it to Entertainment Tonight.
After ET asked Mendes whether or not he'd be working with Cyrus, Mendes answered: "I guess we'll just have to wait and see." When interviewer Zane Lowe pointed out that Mendes was smiling, he said, "That's the worst poker face I've ever seen", to which Mendes replied: "I never said I had a good poker face, and I never will."
Until a collaboration is officially announced by the two singers, we'll just be over here continuing to salivate over Mendes' Calvin Klein campaign, for the millionth consecutive time. Don't mind us.
