If you think Ariana Grande is going to go through a broken engagement and not turn that pain into the most hauntingly beautiful album of the decade then you are sorrily mistaken.
The Sweetener singer broke up with SNL star Pete Davidson in mid-October, and while the two agreed to keep things private, Pete Davidson made a point of making fun of their whirlwind engagement (and subsequent breakup) in a recent SNL promo where he fake proposed to the episode's musical guest, Maggie Rogers.
In response, Ariana Grande took to Twitter and Instagram to express her...frustrations. Her since-deleted Tweet read "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh."
She then continued with a series of Tweets and posts to her Instagram stories that used the phrase "Thank U, Next." Everyone assumed Grande was just continuing her public drag of Pete Davidson, but she was actually just teasing the title of a new album (!!!).
and for that i say ....... thank u, next

Grande has yet to release any information about how many songs will be on the Thank U, Next album, but at least one of the tracks will have the title of the same name, and based on her Instagram story, it looks like Grande has already hit the recording studio.
Let me hear your tears, Ariana!
